You can customise key parameters such as sequence length, specific nucleotide or amino acid compositions, and statistical patterns. This flexibility allows you to create sequences that either mimic real-world biological conditions or follow purely random distributions for theoretical simulations. Beyond generation, the tool offers robust features for viewing, formatting, and exporting results, ensuring your data is ready for immediate integration into your research or software pipelines.

How to Use the Generator

  1. Select Molecule Type: Click the top tabs to pick DNA, RNA, or PROTEIN.
  2. Define Length: Enter the number of units you want (up to 1,000,000).
  3. Synthesise: Click the blue Generate button to create your sequence.
  4. Refine Display: Use the Formatting & Display menu to change how your sequence looks, group units, or show indices.
  5. Export Results: Use the output tools to shuffle, copy, or download your sequence as a FASTA file.

Synthesise polypeptide chains using the Random Protein Sequence Generator. Whether you need a sequence with natural frequency distribution or a purely random peptide for control groups, our engine handles the complex probability math for you across the 20 standard amino acids.
